Eunice Lorraine Beamon Rowe, 86, Pikeville, peacefully passed away Saturday afternoon at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Born in Wayne County Dec. 21, 1930, she was the daughter of the late James and Eva Pate Beamon.

Lorraine was a lifetime attendee of Belfast Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a devoted Sunday school teacher, Vacation Bible School director and director of many children's Christmas programs.

Lorraine will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

A service celebrating Lorraine's life will be held Monday, Aug. 21, 2017, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Herring and the Rev. Joseph Tew officiating. Interment will be Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Pikeville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for a brief time following the service Monday evening at the funeral home.

Lorraine or "Honey" as she was affectionately called by her husband, is survived by her darlin' of 66 years, Isaac "Mutt" Rowe; daughter, Jenny Rowe; grandsons, Andrew (Jennifer), Justin and Matthew; great-grandsons, Grayson and Caleb; daughter-in-law, Kim Rowe; sisters, Dorothy Pope and Reba Barwick; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Glen N. Rowe.
