Franklin Delano Lewis, 83, Goldsboro, passed away Monday.
His funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Joyner's Funeral Home of Wilson. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Eastern Carolina Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon immediately following the service at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson, and other times at the home.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Carol Hawley Lewis of the home; his son, Eddie Lewis and wife, Mattie, of Goldsboro; his daughter, Tracy Barber and husband, Jimmy, of Goldsboro; his stepson, Lin Finch and wife, Vicky, of Virginia; three grandchildren; and his sisters, Marie Lewis of Wilson and Jean Finch of Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Frank's honor to Alzheimer's of North Carolina, 1305 Navaho Drive, Suite 101, Raleigh, N.C., 27609.
