Linwood Carroll Jones, 67, Wilson, died Sunday at Avante Nursing Home.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Kenly Funeral Service, with the Rev. Marvin Wiggins and the Rev. Jimmy Scott officiating. Graveside service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Peacock/Jones Cemetery in Kenly.
He was born in Johnston County Jan. 14, 1950, to the late George Perry and Allie Marie Peacock Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Jane Owens; two sons; two daughters; and a stepson.
Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home. At other times, the family will receive friends at his home.
