Betty Jean Middleton, 64, passed Thursday, June 29, 2017, at UNC Rex Healthcare of Raleigh, N.C.
The celebration of her life will be held Monday, July 3, 2017, at noon, with Dr. Dorothy Heath officiating. She will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 U.S. 117 South, Dudley, N.C.
There will be a viewing held Sunday, July 2, 2017, from 4 to 7 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m., at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations of Goldsboro, N.C.
She was born in Wilson, N.C., to Sam Evans and Mary Reid Evans.
She is survived by her husband, Connie Corinthians Middleton Jr.; three children, Fatima (Lamont) Walden, Devaris Middleton and Dexter Middleton; 10 grandchildren; three sisters; and two brothers.
She was a graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School class of 1971.
