Helen "Korney" Kornegay Waller Adams, 78, 1807 N.C. 50 North, Benson, died Tuesday at Rex Healthcare in Raleigh.
Graveside service was at Pineview Cemetery in Seven Springs, with the Rev. Paul Burgess officiating.
She was born March 4, 1939, in Lenoir County to the late Sam Jones and Helen Kornegay Waller.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. W.C. Adams, and three children.
