FOSTER K. EDICK II

Mr. Edick, 75, Goldsboro, N.C., passed Friday, April 14, 2017, at home.
Born in Lowville, N.Y., Jan. 2, 1942, he was the son of the late Foster K. Edick Sr. and the late Patricia Shumway Melesky.
He attended Boonville schools, before joining the United States Army. He was employed by Foster Paper Co. of Utica, N.Y.
Mr. Edick worked in the paper industry until his retirement.
Mr. Edick lived in Dudley, N.C.
Survivors include his three daughters, Penny Fawcett (Richard) of Orlando, Fla., Jessica Smithson (Justin) of Frankfort, N.Y., and Mary Jo Edick of Utica, N.Y.; his two sons, Foster K. Edick III of Utica, N.Y., and Raymond C. Edick (Stephanie) of Jasper, Ala.; grandchildren, Courtney Dewrell, Beckett Edick and Eastin Edick; great-grandchildren, Reagan Dewrell and Quinn Dewrel; a sister, Yvonne E. Brown of Chester, S.C.; a brother, Donald D. Edick of Dudley, N.C.; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and dearest friend, Terry Stammer of Goldsboro, N.C.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Bruce R. Edick and Charles E. Edick, and by two sisters, Elaine Edick and Carol Ann Edick.
The family will be holding a private service at a later date.
Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Edick family.
