Mildred Battle, 84, 108 Harvey St., Pikeville, died Monday at her residence.
She was born Aug. 26, 1932, in Wayne County to William H. and Annie Bell Forte Battle.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Elm Grove Church of Pikeville. Burial will follow in Golden Gate Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 6 p.m., with the family to receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m., at Haskins Funeral Home. At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are by Haskins Funeral Home.
