Dorothy Louise Taylor Hines passed away Wednesday morning, March 22, 2017, at Willow Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation surrounded by her loving family.
A graveside service will be held Friday, March 24, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Princeton.
Mrs. Hines was born in Craven County to the late Charles Buck and Annie Jackson Taylor.
She is survived by her husband, Luby C. Hines; two sons, Mike Cogdell and wife, Sharon, of Richmond, Va., and Steve Cogdell and wife, Deidra, of Goldsboro; two grandchildren, Michelle Cogdell Johnston and husband, Scott, and Stephanie Cogdell Johnson and husband, Scott; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Walter Cogdell.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
