The Rev. Barney William English, 98, Wallace, died Sunday at Golden Care Rest Home.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Peniel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will be in Peniel Cemetery
He was born Aug. 22, 1918, in Pender County, son of the late Rev. Thomas Smith and Laura Bland English. He was married to the late Estelle Benton and Edna Jarrell Teachey English.
He is survived by a daughter
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace.
