HAZEL V. TONER

Hazel Virginia Jones Toner, 94, LaGrange, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro.
Hazel was born in Harford County, Md., on Nov. 8, 1922 to the late Oliver and Frances Singleton Jones. She was married to the late Richard J. Toner. Hazel retired from civil service after 30 years of service.
A service to celebrate Hazel's life will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 3 p.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Aberdeen, Md. Interment will follow in the Harford Memorial Gardens.
Hazel is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Judy Toner of LaGrange; grandchildren, Amber Toner and Terry Toner; and great-grandchildren, Nicolas Toner, Abigail Toner, Allison Piner, Olivia Toner, James Toner, and Paul Vanak.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Philip Jones, Harry Jones and Charlie Jones; and sisters, Peggy Jones and Mary Tobin.
