DENNIS WHITFIELD JORDAN

Dennis Whitfield Jordan, 70, Fremont, passed away Tuesday afternoon at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Dennis was born in Wayne County June 3, 1946, to the late Talmadge Whitfield and Hazel Tedder Jordan.
He was retired from the Wilson County school system as an electrician, and also owned his own electrical business.
Dennis was a member of Grace Community Church.
A service of remembrance will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Kenly Funeral Service, with the Rev. Randy Jenkins and the Rev. Larry Barbour officiating. Interment will follow at Jordan Family Cemetery beside of White Oak Presbyterian Church.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Margaret Ann Williams Jordan; son, Dennis Whitfield "D.J." Jordan Jr. and wife, Karen, of Kenly; daughter, Melissa Jordan Marella and husband, Jason, of Wilmington; brothers, Guy Jordan, Mack Jordan and Ernest Jordan; sisters, Sandra Barrett, Bonnie Farmer and Gail Jordan; and grandchildren, Zackary Whitfield Jordan, Taylor Grace Jordan, Jordan Lily Marella and Levi Silver Marella.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 3, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kenly Funeral Service and at other times, at his home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to Victory Junction, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, N.C., 27317.
