CALEB SAMUEL ARNS

Caleb Samuel Arns passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, and is now in the loving arms of Jesus.
Caleb was born Feb. 14, 2017, in Greenville, N.C., weighing 3 pounds, 13 ounces, and measuring 163/4 inches long.
He was an answer to prayer, and his parents waited for his birth with joyful expectation.
During his brief visit on earth, he enjoyed listening to his mother sing to him and being held close by his parents.
Caleb was able to grip his mother's finger and respond to his father's touch. He had a few wisps of hair, his father's nose and his mother's lovely face.
Caleb was loved by all who met him, and will be greatly missed.
The family will gather for a service celebrating Caleb's life at Gateway Community Church in Pikeville Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at 2 p.m., with pastor Thayer Stamper officiating.
The family will greet friends in the sanctuary in the hour prior to the service Saturday.
Caleb is survived by his parents, Joseph and Fahm Arns; sister, Mia Tong Arns; maternal grandparents, Fou Tong Saechao and Meuy Fin Saechao; and paternal grandparents, Paul Archie Arns and Catherine Jean Arns.
