Donald Wayne Wicker, 61, passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, at home surrounded by his loving family.
A funeral service was held Sunday at 6 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. The family received friends following the service. Interment was held today at noon at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.
Mr. Wicker was born in Harris County, Texas on Jan. 9, 1956.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Yarbrough Wicker.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Annette Woodley Wicker; two daughters, Crystal Wicker and Tammy Person, both of Goldsboro; brother, Pastor Jerry Wicker and wife, Petra of Prince George, Va.; his father, Tracy Wicker of Goldsboro; father-in-law, Robert Woodley of Pikeville; and two grandchildren, Kayla and Carter Person.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory of Goldsboro.
