NANCY CREOLA EARP PARRISH

Tuesday morning, Jan. 17, 2017, Nancy Creola Earp Parrish, 90, Goldsboro, moved to her heavenly home.

Creola was a godly woman, who loved the Lord and her family and set an example for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren that will lead them all their lives.

Creola, the last of eight children, was born in Johnston County June 24, 1926, to the late Fred and Della Woodard Earp. She was married to the late John R. Parrish.

Creola was chosen as valedictorian of her graduating class at Pine Level High School.

She loved Bizzell Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church, and was a dedicated and faithful servant her entire life.

Her most significant role in life, and what she did best, was being a loving mother, grandmother and friend to her family.

A service celebrating Creola's life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017, at Bizzell Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Philip Bland officiating. Interment will follow in Bizzell Grove Memorial Gardens.

Creola is survived by her daughters, Brenda Holloman and husband, Kenneth, and Teresa Smith and husband, Ralph; sons, Danny Parrish and wife, Virginia, Teddy Parrish and wife, Holly, and Freddie Parrish and wife, Ruth; 18 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Bizzell Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church, 4700 Bizzell Grove Church Road, Princeton, N.C., 27569.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her home.
