Cassie Brogden Newsome, 84, Lucama, died Sunday at the Brian Center of Wilson.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Princeton Town Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. De Wayne Eakes officiating.
She was married to the late Carl "Sugarboy" Newsome.
She is survived by two sons.
Arrangements are by Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home.
