Alene Hayes Mitchell, 77, Kenly, died Thursday at the home of her son.
Visitation will be today from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Kenly Funeral Service, with funeral at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. T.P. Davis and the Rev. Carol Davis officiating. Internment will be at Old Beulah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
She was born in Harnett County Jan. 24, 1939, to the late Charlie and Amelia Hayes.
She is survived by two daughters and a son.
