Melba Strickland Casey, 49, Goldsboro, passed away Oct. 28, 2016.
She was born May 2, 1967, to Dora Ellen Smith Strickland and the late Arnold Ray Strickland.
The funeral service will take place at Casey Funeral Home chapel Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Tony Kopanski officiating. The burial will take place in Beasley Family Cemetery on Devil's Race Track Road in Smithfield at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016.
She is survived by her mother, Dora Ellen Smith Strickland; husband, Brian C. Casey; son, Julius Beasley III of Selma; daughter, Heather Candace Beasley of Princeton; brother, David Ray Strickland of Pine Level; sisters, Linda Troutner of Erie, Pa., and Joan Strickland of Goldsboro; and grandson, Dixon Beasley.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, at Casey Funeral Home chapel.
