Franklin Keen, 86, Mount Olive, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016.
Funeral service will be Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Jordan Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ray Smeltzer and the Rev. Frank Sandy officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
Survivors include daughter, Sheila Keen Barefoot of Newton Grove; sons, Barry Keen, Dexter "Pete" Keen and wife, Debbie, all of Mount Olive and Charles "Bud" Keen of Gettysburg, Pa.; grandchildren, Christopher, Caroline and Kelly-Grace Keen, Wesley and Lindsey Keen and Lee Barefoot; and a great-grandson, Elijah Lee Barefoot.
He was preceded in death by parents, Gurtha and Bettie Keen, and his loving wife, Ellen Bradshaw Keen.
