Clifford "Pete" Barnes, 60, formerly of Goldsboro, died Sunday in Augusta, Ga.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be at Barnes Cemetery with military honors.
He was born May 23, 1956, in Wayne County to Earl Barnes and Glendora Atkinson Barnes.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Pridgen Barnes.
