Mr. Emmett Haywood Warrick, 89, Concord, left his broken body to go to his Lord Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016.
Emmett was born in Grantham, N.C., Aug. 27, 1927, to William and Maybelle Warrick.
Mr. Warrick is survived by two daughters, Rita Byrum (Larry) and Joy Finney (Scott); grandsons, Lee Finney and Brandon Byrum; granddaughter, Jami Finney Gordon (Earl); great-grandsons, Rayne Finney and Owen Gordon; and great-granddaughter, Grace Rose Byrum.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, in the chapel of James Funeral Home of Hutnersville. Committal will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery and Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
