James Edward Williams, 86, Raleigh, N.C., departed this life Monday Aug. 22, 2016.
A celebration of life was held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, Haywood Funeral Home, 2415 S. Wilmington St.
Funeral services will be observed at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016, at Davie Street Presbyterian Church, 300 E. Davie St., preceded by a 1 p.m. visitation. Interment will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, at Mount Hope Cemetery.
Floral and monetary donations may be made to Davie Street Presbyterian Church in honor of Mr. Williams.
