Katherine Ann Warr Odom, 65, passed away on Saturday at Vidant Medical Center. She was born in Richmond County to the late Nathan and Thelma Perkins Warr and was married to Carl Odom. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Asheboro but attended locally at Brock's Chapel Church.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Brock's Chapel Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Odom is survived by a granddaughter, Lauren Haley Blackmon of Calypso; two grandsons, Dakota McIntosh and Robert Blackmon Jr.; a son, Robert Blackmon; and a sister, Carolyn Caulder of Asheboro.
