John “J.C.” Charles Armstrong 89, Fountain, formerly of Goldsboro, N.C., passed away June 8, 2016, at the North Carolina State Veterans Home in Kinston, N.C.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 7, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at University Church of Christ, 100 Crestline Blvd., Greenville, N.C. The Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Honor Guard will provide military funeral honors.
Family and friends are invited to lunch at the church following the service.
