Vickie Price Davis, 65, Faison resident, died Tuesday evening, June 7, at home.
Private services will be held in Faison Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. Paul Rose.
Friends and family are welcome to call at the residence at 109 Hank Davis Lane (off of Park Circle) in Faison.
In lieu of flowers, memorials gifts may be directed to Faison Fire and Rescue, P.O. Box 758, Faison, N.C., 28341.
Vickie was a retired school teacher, having taught middle school language arts for most of her career. She had employment tenure with Brogden, Grantham, James Kenan, Eastern Wayne and North Duplin schools, but most of her teaching was at Mount Olive Middle.
Vickie was preceded in death by her mother, Verna Mae Waters Brogden; her father, Mack Price; and her "little brother," Ricky Brogden.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Henry B. "Hank" Davis Jr.; a daughter, Tori Davis of Mooresville; two sisters, Linda Newsome and Gail Jones both of Goldsboro; a sister-in-law, Allegra Davis Aylward of Marshall, N.C.; and several aunts and uncles and many cousins.
