Barbara Jean "Dang" James, 73,112 Bill Williams Lane, Warsaw, died Saturday at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
Funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at St. Peter AME Church of Warsaw, with evangelist Geraldine Burden officiating. Burial will be in Middleton Cemetery.
Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Annie L. Cooper and Leonard Wallace, and wife of General James Jr.
A son survives.
Visitation will be Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends at the home.
