Julie Blackmon Womble, 80, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kelvin Gurley officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Cleon and Lela Hockaday Blackmon. She was married to Carl Jay Womble.
She is survived by two children.
Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
