Elder Atlas Garner Jr., 79, Mount Olive, died Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center of Goldsboro.
Funeral will be Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m., with the family present 6 to 7, in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations Inc.
He was born in Lenoir County to Stephen Atlas Garner and Lena Roberson Garner. He was married to Lucy Branch Garner.
He is survived by his children.
