Michael McClellan Warner, 65, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was born in Kentucky April 10, 1950, to the late Gene and Faustina Hays Warner.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2016, at Wayne Memorial Park, with pastor Andy Stovall officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Warner was a member of The Bridge Church.
He enjoyed life and working, which included meeting his past customers at Daniels Furniture; selling cars; and real estate.
He will be truly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Kay Tucker Warner; son, Michael Todd Warner and wife, Stephanie, of Goldsboro; daughter, Tonya Renae Warner-Thornton and husband, Tony, of Pikeville; and three grandchildren, Austin Warner, Allen Thornton and Liam Warner.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
