Elbert Croom, 82, of Upper Marlboro, Md., formerly of Goldsboro, died Saturday, March 19, at Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham, Md.
The celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, March 29, at 11 a.m. at St. Luke Church of Christ, 430 E. Elm St., Goldsboro. Burial will be at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 U.S. Highway 117, Dudley, with military honors.
Visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church.
He was born April 22, 1933, in Goldsboro to Tyson Croom and Sudie Best Croom.
Arrangements are with J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
