Danny Lee Mitchell Jr., 52, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Daniel Lee Mitchell Sr. and Martha Elaine Yates Bass.
He is survived by three children.
Arrangements are by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and Crematory.
