Douglas Lee Wallace, 34, Mount Olive, died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was born Dec. 9, 1981, in New Hanover County to Adalene Wallace and the late Nathaniel Matthews.
The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Piney Green FWB Church.
The burial will be in Scott's Store Community Cemetery.
The visitation wil be held today from 3 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel.
