Sylvia Grantham Britt, 70, died Thursday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Boyd L. and Erma Jordan Grantham.
She was beloved in her community, and was well known as the owner of Sylvia's Beauty Salon.
She was a member of Eureka Christian Church.
A service to celebrate Sylvia's life will be held Sunday at 6 p.m. at Eureka Christian Church, with the Rev. Frank Purvis officiating.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
Sylvia is survived by her loving husband, Mack Britt; two sons, McCkines and Tammy Britt and Scott Britt; her brothers, George and Debra Grantham and Tommy and Annie Grantham; grandchildren, Kimberly Britt, Kayla Heath, Cassady Britt, Caitlin Britt, Cody Britt and Chrissann Coltren; and seven great-grandchildren.
