Jerre Lee Harris, 58, died Sunday at the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Funeral will be Sunday from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory. A private graveside will be held at Willow Dale Cemetery.
He was born on Feb. 23, 1957, to Ethel Herring Harris of Goldsboro and the late James A. Harris.
Visitation wil follow the service.
