Mr. Edward Earl McIntyre Jr., 40, 105 Melodie Lane, Goldsboro, N.C., departed his earthly life Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, N.C.
Earl was born in Germany March 2, 1975. He was born to the late Mrs. Virginia Greenfield McIntyre and Mr. Edward McIntyre Sr.
After high school, Earl earned his associate degree while attending college.
He worked as a sales associate for Family Dollar store.
Funeral service will be conducted Monday, Oct. 12, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Apostle D.L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C. Pastor Betty J. Faison will officiate.
Interment will follow in Pine Level Family Cemetery, 2858 Arrington Bridge Road, Dudley, N.C.
Also, a public viewing will be held Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, from 2 to 6 p.m. in Apostle D.L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C., with the family present from 5 to 6 p.m.
Mr. Earl leaves to cherish his loving and precious memories to his wife of the home, Barbara Royall McIntyre; his three daughters, Ebony Bizzell of Charleston, S.C., and Dalisha Truzy and Crystal Truzy both of Goldsboro, N.C.; his three sons, Edward McIntyre III, Lamar McIntyre and Larry Truzy Jr. all of Goldsboro, N.C.; his sister, Jennifer McIntyre of Goldsboro, N.C.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Monday, Oct. 12, 2015, the family members and friends will assemble one hour prior at 9:50 a.m. at the residence of Mrs. Barbara McIntyre, 105 Melodie Lane, Goldsboro, N.C., in preparation for the funeral procession.
Flowers may be sent to McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C., beginning Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
