Dolores died Tuesday morning at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington, N.C.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Friday, Oct. 9, at 4 p.m. at Freedom Baptist Church of Goldsboro, with pastor Johnathon Smith presiding.
Dolores served as an educational aide at Gordon Elementary School at Fort Bragg, N.C.
Dolores is survived by her husband, Linton "Andy" Anderson of Spring Lake; two daughters, Rebecca Chestnut and Stacie Connolly; and a son, Jason.
Dolores is survived by her mother, Sue Shannon of Goldsboro, and was preceded by her father, Robert "Bob" Shannon.
Dolores is also survived by five grandchildren, Bella, Cameron, Devin, Madison and Malek.
Dolores is also survived by three bothers and her sister, Cheri, Robert, Larry and Danny.
