Eddie Lynn Weeks, 58, lifelong resident of Mount Olive, died early Tuesday morning, Sept. 22, at his home.
His life will be remembered in a service Thursday, Sept. 24, at 7 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Steven Wicks, and followed by visitation. Committal and interment will be Friday, Sept. 25, at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Family and friends are also welcome to call at the residence, 1188 Country Club Road, Mount Olive.

Eddie was the son of the late Maylon M. and Betty Jean Jones Weeks.
Following his graduation in 1976 from Southern Wayne Senior High School, he gained employment with Sonoco, and at the time of its closure in 2006, he was the safety manager.
Following his Sonoco career, he also worked with IMPulse and then Hilex Poly.
He was a retired volunteer fireman with Mount Olive Fire Department, and he and his dad had operated Weeks Small Engine Repair Shop.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Theresa M. Weeks; two daughters and sons-in-law, Renee and Jason Farmer and Stephanie and Todd Warner all of Goldsboro; four grandchildren, Lindsey and Taylor Walden and Liam and Austin Warner; three stepchildren, Joshua Womack, Joey Womack and Heather Womack all of West Monroe, La.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Carlton and Carol Weeks and Terry and Dawn Weeks all of Mount Olive; and a special friend, Alan Hawkins of Mount Olive.
