Timothy "Tim" Louis Hobbs, 48, Calvin Hobbs Road, Faison, died Sunday evening, Sept. 13, 2015.
Tim is survived by his two girls, Meagan Hobbs and her fiance', Brandon Rabon, of Wilmington and Cayla Hobbs and her fiance', Aaron Barwick, of Mount Olive; a brother, Steve Hobbs of Faison; and his grandparents, Esther and Bernice Williams.
He is also survived by his wife, Rene Padgett Hobbs of the home; stepsons, Kendal Holland and Alan Holland; and his stepgranddaughters, Ashlynn Cheyenne and Ally Grace, whom he loved very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hampton and Alma Rouse Hobbs, and his first wife, Crystal Lynn Gwaltney Hobbs.
Tim will be fondly remembered for his love of being outside, working in the yard, grilling out with his girls, taking pride in his work and a job well done.
He was employed with Goodyear in Fayetteville.
A graveside service was to be held Thursday, Sept. 17, at 11 a.m. in Faison Cemetery.
The family received friends at Tyndall Funeral Home Wednesday evening, Sept. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m.
