WILBERT RAY SULLIVAN

Wilbert Ray Sullivan, 75, Greenville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.

Wilbert, a native of Wayne County, lived much of his life in the Goldsboro area.

He was employed as a meat market manager in retail grocery stores, which brought him to Greenville in 1986, where he resided in the Black Jack community.

He retired in 1999, and was currently working with the Auto Auction.

He was a member of Black Jack Original Free Will Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Joyce Sullivan; daughters, Melinda Sneed of New Hope and Kim Wilson of Wisconsin; stepson, Robert Anders of Rolesville; stepdaughter, Beverly Edwards of Greenville; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, George Sullivan of Winston-Salem; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund at Black Jack Original Free Will Baptist Church, 2972 Black Jack-Simpson Road, Greenville, N.C., 27858.
