SPENCER A. KING

Spencer Allen King, 33, died suddenly Wednesday evening as a result of an automobile accident.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kallen Holmes Thompson and Ronald of Goldsboro; his father, Moses Gregg King of Faison; a brother, Scott King and his wife, Brandi, of Faison; his paternal grandparents, Moses and Dean King of Faison; his maternal grandparents, Allen and Kay Holmes of Bowden; his two nieces, Raven and Adison King; and a nephew, Chase King all of Faison.

Spencer is also survived by his K-9 companion, Ozkr.

Services for Spencer will be held Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive, with the Rev. Gerald Holloman and pastor Ken White officiating. Entombment will follow the service at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service Saturday beginning at 1 to 2:45 p.m. and at other times, at the home of Moses and Dean King in Faison.

Because of Spencer's love for music and the arts, the family requests memorials to be directed to the music and creative arts at Goshen New Life Church, 3911 Suttontown Road, Faison, N.C., 28341; The Bridge Church, 188 Whitely Church Road, Princeton, N.C., 27569; or any music and creative arts charity of one's choice.

Spencer will be greatly missed, and fondly remembered for his passion of creating music with the assistance of the Sleepy Base Recording program, his heart of gold, a loving and caring spirit for others and his willingness to help those in need.
