ROSS P. TURNER

Ross P. Turner, 81, longtime resident of Scott's Store community near Mount Olive, died Saturday night, July 4, at Genesis Care Center.
A native of Potter's Hill community, he had been employed for a good many years with Donnell Kornegay Farms.
Known to most as simply "Big Foot," he is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Turner of Wilmington; a son, Delbert Turner of Kings Mountain; and two grandchildren, Brian James Turner and Madison Taylor Turner.
His life will be remembered in a gathering to be held Saturday, July 11, at 11 a.m. on the grounds of Snow Hill Free Will Baptist Church in Scott's Store community. Pastor Mark S. Hobbs will offer words of remembrance.
