RONALD RAY "RONNIE" MALPASS
June 5, 1959-July 7, 2015
Ronald Ray "Ronnie" Malpass, 56, died early Tuesday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in Lenoir County, he was the son of Marie Thigpen Malpass of Goldsboro and the late Ray Vernon Malpass, and father of the late Ronald Ray Malpass II.
A 1979 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School, he obtained an Associate Degree from Wayne Community College.
A service to celebrate Ronnie's life will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
In addition to his mother, Ronnie is survived by a daughter, Sierra Marie Malpass of Goldsboro; a stepdaughter, Heather Malpass; a sister, April Mort; six grandchildren, Jadin "Jaybird" Poythress, Dylan Malpass, Alexis Lupinski, Olivia Lupinski, Christian Malpass and Kaydn Haire.
