JOHN RAYMOND LANE

John Raymond Lane, 75, died Saturday, June 13, 2105, at The Magnolia Assisted Living Center in Clinton.

A service of remembrance will be held Thursday, June 18, at 7 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Paul Rose, and followed by visitation.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial gifts to Shriner's Children's Hospital, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Fla., 33607.

John Raymond, a veteran of the United States Air Force, had operated an engine repair shop in Mount Olive.

He was a Mason and a Shriner.

Surviving are three children, Belinda Lane Taylor, Glenn Lane and Teresa Lane Holland all of Mount Olive; three grandchildren, Cameron, Haley and Paige Holland; a great-granddaughter, Stella Mae Quinn; two sisters, Peggy Lane Jernigan of Dudley and Faye Lane Davis of Mount Olive; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his oldest son, John Robert Lane; his parents, Raymond and Lola Mae Tillman Lane; a brother, Jimmy Lane; and an infant brother, John Lane.
