CHERYL PAGE SMITH

Cheryl "Chris" Page Smith, 59, Pikeville, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Chris was born in Lenoir County Nov. 26, 1955, to the late Henry Herman Page and Christine Smith Page.
She was a member of Smith's Presbyterian Church in Pink Hill.
Chris leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and support for the people she cared about. Her enthusiasm and charm will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her most significant role in life, and what she did best, was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
A service celebrating Chris' life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2015, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with Tammy Smith officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2015, in Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Sunday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her home.
Chris is survived by her husband of 15 years, Hank Smith; daughter, Adrian Portwood of Pikeville; granddaughter, Breanna Portwood; sister, Rebecca Page Bolduc and husband, James Allen Bolduc; nephew, Justin Trevor Bolduc and Nikki Bell and their daughter, Avery Marie Bolduc; and her uncle and aunt, Bobby and Ruth Ann Page.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Milton Page and Henry Leon Page.
