CONNIE SUE VANDIFORD

Connie Sue Vandiford, 58, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, to walk hand in hand with our Lord and Savior and her parents. Connie was a very special child born on Dec. 13, 1956 and placed by God in the loving hands of her parents, Herman Elias Vandiford and Doris Harris Vandiford. Connie went through life seeing only the beauty of this earth.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 16, from 1-2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. in Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Bill Rose officiating.
Connie is survived by her sister and caregiver, Joan Tanner of Goldsboro; sister, Pat Cole of Goldsboro; brother, Duane Vandiford of LaGrange; and several nieces and nephews including Joseph Tanner and Pamela Tanner Burford. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Joyce Vick, Jean and Roy Turnage and Willie G. and Geraldine Harris. In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her nephew, John Tanner.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the Wayne Opportunity Center, 619 S. George Street, Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.
