BRENDA J. STOCKS

Brenda Jones Stocks, 60, died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Born in Pitt County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Edith Cherry Jones, and was married to David Stocks.
She had worked as a caregiver at O'Berry Center.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. Vann Mitchell officiating.
The family will be receiving friends Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
In addition to her husband, Brenda is survived by four sons, David Stocks Jr. and wife, Laura, Joseph Stocks and wife, Courtney, Michael Stocks and wife, Wenonah, and Christopher Stocks all of Rosewood; a brother, Kenneth Jones and wife, Evelyn, of Douglasville, Ga.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, a son, Marshall Ray Stocks, preceded her in death.
