Brenda Sue Beamon, 64, of the Belfast community, passed away on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015.
"BB," as she was known to friends and family, had a life-long love of music and crafting.
She was an LPN at Duke Hospital for 27 years before retiring and moving to Goldsboro to help care for her ailing father.
Before her declining health, she was known as being helpful to anyone who needed her.
She had a sweet yet devilish nature that endeared her to all who knew her.
A service celebrating BB's life will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home.
A private interment will be held in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Brenda is survived by her mother, Ruby Johnson Beamon; her brothers, James Beamon and wife, Phyllis, and Gerald Beamon and wife, Soundra; her nieces, Jessica Beamon (Tristan), Michelle Adkins (Brian) and their children, Benjamin and Erin; and nephew, Joseph Beamon (Svetlana).
She also leaves behind several dear relatives and friends.
Brenda joins her father, Samuel Christopher Hayes Beamon, in heaven.
