Judy Frances "Fran" Massey Hartsfield, 77, passed away Dec. 21, 2014, in Houston, Texas.
She was born April 4, 1937, in Princeton, N.C., to the late Elijah Daniel Massey and Marguerite Fields Massey Hales.
Fran is survived by her daughter, Judy Hartsfield Gedies; grandsons, Robert Hartsfield Giddies and Michael Warren Gedies; sister, Ernestine Cox; as well as numerous family members and friends.
She was predeceased by Henry Warren Hartsfield, her husband of 57 years; daughter, Keely Warren Hartsfield; and siblings, Max Massey, Virginia Regan and John Massey.
Fran was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She was an avid reader and bridge player, and loved to complete crossword puzzles. Family meant everything to her. She and her family loved each other dearly, and we will miss her so very much.
Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 2, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home-Webster.
A service will be held Saturday, Jan. 3, at 11 a.m. at Clear Lake United Methodist Church, 16335 El Camino Real, Houston, Texas, 77062.
