Retired United States Air Force Staff Sgt. John A. "Tony" Dillehay, 80, Bunche Drive, went to be with his Lord and savior Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A celebration of love service will be held Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at noon from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory, with viewing beginning at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park South with military honors and Masonic rites.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Mae Gloria Ford Dillehay; his daughters, Marney of Goldsboro and Cynthia of Mebane; a sister, Victoria Trosclair of Los Angeles, Calif.; several nieces of North Carolina and California; several great-nieces and nephews of North Carolina and California; other relatives and friends of the Alamance and Person County area; and his O'Berry staff.
Professional services have been entrusted and in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
