Ebbie Turlington Mooring, 79, Fremont, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014.
Funeral Saturday 2 p.m. Fremont United Methodist Church, followed by visitation. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
She was a member of the church, garden club, vice president of the historical society, Small Town Economical Prosperity Group and enjoyed delivering Meals-On-Wheels.
Ebbie is survived by her husband, Leon V. Mooring; daughter, Teresa Horne (fiancé, Gary Ward) of Rosewood; sons, Terry Mooring (Tamara) of Riverside, Calif., Michael Mooring (Karen) of Chesapeake, Va., and Troy Mooring (partner, Ron) of Lawrenceville, Ga.; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Betsy Smith (Chip) of Fremont, Susan Swindell (Scott) and Anita Kyles (Allen) of Sanford, Linda Mooring (Donald) of Knoxville, Tenn., and Eliza McBride of Vienna, W. Va.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Fremont United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 147, Fremont, N.C., 27830-0147.
