JOHN ROMAN BRANSKI

John Roman Branski, 91, Pikeville, passed away Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, at the Brian Center in Goldsboro.
John was born in Milwaukee, Wisc., Dec. 10, 1922, to the late John and Elizabeth Zalewski Branski. He was married to the late Martha Victoria Bartlett Branski.
John proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
The family will receive friends Friday, Oct. 31, 2014, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by service celebrating John's life at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel, with deacon Webster James presiding. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with military honors.
John is survived by his son, Michael Branski and his wife, Karen, of Texas, and his grandchildren, Christopher Branski and Caroline Branski.
In addition to his wife and parents, John was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Branski.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kan., 66675.
